Missing sheets

I went to change my bed today (an experience in itself with a broken ankle), and found that two of the four fitted sheets that fit my bed seem to have gone absent. I used to have (at least) one navy fitted, two light-blue fitted (still around) and one cream fitted sheet. I can no longer find the cream or nave fitted sheets. I wonder where the hell they may have gone. I know washing machines have a reputation for eating socks -- but fitted queen sheets are just a bit bigger -- I'd have thought out of the size range that washing machines would prey on.

did you try the bishop's chest? Perhaps the third floor has some hidden there as well.

Assuming you mean the Deacon's bench (on the main floor), that doesn't have any sheets in it.

I did look on the third floor, too, I didn't find any hidden there. I checked the obvious places -- the mini-cupboard left of the sink, and the 2-drawer end table.

I meant the thing that holds the comics just outside your bedroom, where the towels are kept. There may be fitted sheets in there.

I looked through there, too. I think those are lawyer's cabinets or something like that, actually. I also checked the dresser sitting on the landing, too.

bishop's chest, deacon's bench, lawyer's cabinets, sooper secret passageways.

Your house may secretly be a tardis. You have the most awesome house, even if it does eat sheets as a tithe.
