It can be nice to be a regular. To walk in, and the waitress recognises you and brings you coffee (and lots of creams & sugars) with the menu. It says something about my life, though, that the place this happens is the restaurant in the U.S. departures area of Ottawa International Airport. *sigh*

I get this too, but because I am the crier with the blind guy...I've gotten better though. I didn't cry last time I came home until two whole days later, =).
