Of course nothing on the Internet is private if someone really wants to get at it. That doesn't mean that people should be taking information they got from someone else and making it EASILY accessible to folks who weren't intended to see it.
(My employers have sufficient sophistication to use Google. They don't have enough tech-savvy or, frankly, the motivation to get their hands on stuff that I've friends-locked. I rely on this distinction.)
