So today was a gaming day -- we got in 4 games, then were joined by [livejournal.com profile] foms and [livejournal.com profile] con_girl for dinner. They said they were just coming over for dinner, but somehow stayed into the evening and we didn't get any more games in. Socialization and conversation happened instead.

We played:
Fluxx while waiting to find out one player wasn't showing up, won by Inge,
Unexploded Cow won, quite appropriately, with massive cow carnage, by [livejournal.com profile] ragnhildr,
Torres also won by [livejournal.com profile] ragnhildr,
Tikal won by Troy.

The game of Tikal was an interesting experience for me -- Troy had such a strong lead going into the end that I was being thrown bones.

Lots of fun, and we shall do it again.

Yes. I did say it was a strange experience, didn't I? :)

I think Troy is an as-competitive, if not more competitive gamer than you.

I was suitably impressed this afternoon when [livejournal.com profile] ragnhildr told me about the cow carnage.

I'll happly turn up next time, I'd even be up for hosting gaming days.

What are your plans for this coming Saturday (Feb 26th)? Troy & Inge are out of town, and I'll be leaving for (probably) a couple weeks on Sunday, so a day of gaming before I leave town would be cool. Would you like to host it?

I'm actually going to Practicum, so that's a no-go for me.

Gah. Now I'm trying to remember who wrote Ozymandias.
