pleasant get-together last night

ragnhildr and iclysdale showed up around 6pm, and we had food. Then beable appeared and we setup a game of El Grande. Just as we started, a few more people showed up (ilanikhan, then _niall, then a bit later, ansfrid and ironphoenix). ilanikhan and _niall played Caesar and Cleopatra, then the four played Race for the Galaxy. After we completed El Grande, we played Tsuro and a few games of Bananagrams. Wehn Race completed, there seemed no momentum to start another game, so we hung around in the living room and chatted, drank some port, and chatted. Definitely a pleasant get-together, and everyone departed shortly after midnight.

Unfortunately it looks awfully rainy, today, for my climbing expedition. :( Though tomorrow looks pretty positive for my trip out with iclysdale. :)

We did have a good time.

For today, I just got back from climbing near Luskville -- despite the miserable weather in Ottawa, it was just different enough up there that we had overcast skies with the occasional little spit of rain, but not enough to affect the climbing and we were climbing on dry rock.
