Sometimes Chicago sucks

Expected time of arrival at SFO: 1936
Actual time of arrival at SFO: 00:06
Difference: 4.5 hours
Reason: Chicago O'Hare

For those that don't know airport codes, SFO = San Francisco International Airport (San Francisco Obispo or something like that).

You're not surprised by that, are you?

And sometimes, Chicago sucks... *evil grin*

I can't wait to see what shows up in the digest version tomorrow. That's one of the reasons I like the digest version. It's much funnier to see it altogether. :)

Thank you! This was the one I insisted my parents put on our Christmas Card. :) It can be found (along with other pics of me) in full size: http://people.emich.edu/bdurrett/brenpics.html

I like the image too, though I think it looks better in this cropped version, than the original.

So if I read my LJ correctly, you and Chad are both in SF? Or at least both passed through SFO? Completely coincidentally?

Hmmmmm.

[identity profile] dagibbs.livejournal.com 2005-02-14 11:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, I don't read Chad's LJ, so dunno about him. I'm actually in Campbell during the day, and Cupertino at night (San Jose area, rather than San Francisco area, just the flights to/from SFO were better).

And, yes, it could just be coincidence.

I've had odder - bumped into [livejournal.com profile] elizilla at DTW on the way out of Detroit recently, as she was getting home.

And, in fact, this trip I ended up behind a former QNX employee at the airport checkin in Ottawa, found we were both going to San Jose, by the same flights to SFO. We were both late. She now works for our biggest competitor (Windriver, maker of Vxworks) and was on her way to their international sales conference, so since she missed her lift I gave her a lift to her hotel, as I was renting a car. Told the QNX people here, one of which is ex-Windriver, and it amused them, as I expected it would.
