Damned brain-sucking computer games
Feb. 8th, 2005 11:01 amSunday night I was up until 6am playing Europa Universalis. This was after doing the same thing Saturday night -- though Sunday I was able to "sleep in" until noon. Monday morning, up at 9am and in to work. I thought I'd be too tired, and go home to bed early, but no. Apparently the 3 hours of sleep I got Sunday night, I mean Monday morning, were a good three hours. Monday at 1:20am I get up from the computer, still at work, and head home. To bed by about 2am. Ugh. This morning was a bit rough, wonder how late I'm gonna be tonight?
One advantage, though, of these games is they help you to not think about things.

Date: 2005-02-08 08:51 am (UTC)I like reading and TV for the same thing...though I am often too restless and wind up cleaning my house.
I've been trying all morning to get to my thesis and instead cleared off half my desk and caught up with my emails.
I wish i could skip class now since I am energised to get more work done...lol...
hugs again...

Date: 2005-02-09 02:53 pm (UTC)This is true. I play "Call of Duty" quite a bit in the evening hours. Or at least until I'm exhausted and fall asleep. Not all the time, but a decent bit once in a while.
