Driving home from the airport today, I saw a pickup truck with a bumper sticker that read, "I *heart* golden showers". So, is there some more prosaic meaning of golden showers of which I'm not aware, or is the owner that out? Or, maybe, this is a practical joke?

Wow... just... yeah, wow....

Who would make a bumper sticker like that?

Photographic evidence next time you run across him him/her?

Do you really want me pulling out, aiming, and shooting a camera while driving down the road? I'm not entirely sure that qualifies as safe.

But, if I get the chance, yeah sure.

You don't have to look through the viewfinder. Just aim in the general direction of the bumper. Zoom in with your photo-editing program, and voila.

I do know. I took a bunch of photos on the drive from Invermere B.C. to Calgary, many shot from the car while driving. Yay for digital. (I was just poking icedrake a bit.) Though, actually, the risk would not be in the pointing & aiming of the camera, but in the scrabble through my backpack to find and extricate the camera.

There you go. Put the camera on the seat beside you before you start driving. :)

I should have thought of that!

I took a picture with the camera on my phone, but I don't think it's really legible.

I'm with ya. Only one meaning I know of, too.

Didn't know there were places you could buy the bumper stickers. Musta been a con or somethin'.

There hasn't been a local SF con in a while, but could have been a kink convention of some sort.

Maybe it's a band name?

Google suggests that "Golden Shower" is a band, but this was definitely pluralized. I don't remember the capitalization, though it might have been all-caps so I wouldn't have been able tell.

Okay, I was going to suggest jfgi, specifically in image search, just to snark at you, but it seems you're way ahead of me here. Hope you enjoyed your travels!

There is a band from South America (Brazil?) named "Golden Shower" - I have their great video of the piece called "Video Computer System" which is all done with Atari2600 sounds, and the video is all block pixels cleverly incorporating about a dozen classic games images.

But it's in the singular only.
