climb, climb, climb

It is really nice to have a climbing enthusiast in the class I'm teaching. We've been out climbing three days this week, now -- Monday, Wednesday and today (Thursday). The local gym isn't the greatest, and really has minimal bouldering, so having someone to climb with makes a real difference. Of course, my hands and arms are really tired now. The two days rest before I climb again on Sunday will be really welcome.
And, I'm really hoping San Jose has sunny weather tomorrow and, especially, Saturday. I'm in contact with someone down there who is interested in taking me climbing at Castle Rock State Park, but the rock there is sandstone that is a lot weaker when wet than dry -- so we can only go climbing (outside) if the rock is dry enough. Which means, I want sunny days the next couple days to dry out the rock. If not, we'll go gym climbing -- and Planet Granite is a really nice gym, but it isn't the same as getting to play on some real rock I haven't climbed before, and in particular on a type of rock (sandstone) which I haven't gotten to climb on before.
