Damned beds like rock

I've switched to a Day's Inn near the hotel in Indianapolis this evening, cause I have an early flight out tomorrow morning. Unfortunately, the bed is like a rock. Hard, hard, hard. I hate hard beds. The one at the Marriott Courtyard in Kokomo was quite comfortable -- but not this one. And, I'm going to have to get up way too early, too. And, I'm going to resist bed, cause I don't want to go near it. Maybe I'll be able to sleep on the plane. Yeah. That's the plan.

I would be asking for a room with a softer bed... if that fails, perhaps they have a couple of extra comforters you could put under you?

The hotel is pretty crowded -- there are "welcome" banners up, and a couple tour buses out front, as well as a mostly full lot. When I was at the desk, a couple people were asking for things like extra towels and pillows, and were told there weren't much of anything. So, not much hope.

And, I've found that most beds in a particular hotel tend to be pretty similar.
