Friday was hot, hot and humid enough that at midnight wearing nothing at all, it was still hot enough that climbing the stairs was enough to make me sweat. Today, two (2) days later at 2pm, I'm wearing long pants and two sweaters and I'm chilly.

"Welcome to Canada in September." :-)

There was a commercial for Ontario Tourism on a little while ago, that featured pictures of people on a beach, and then pictures of skiing. The implication seemed to be that it was on the same day....

Actually, in Vancouver you could probably do that. Well, the skiing might be nearby, but still probably doable. Hm... might even be doable within the urban area, since there is a ski area that you can get to by city bus.
