I haven't updated in a while, and I may even have missed a book or two because of that, but oh well. Here is what I've got.

Book 26: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J. K. Rowling. Do I need to say anything here? You've probably read it already. Finally a finish to the Potter books. This one concludes the series in a reasonable manner, and provides a late enough follow-up that it does tend to preclude "one-more-story"ism from it. Satisfying, but still not great literature, and still with its derivative bits.

Book 27: Face Climbing by John Long. Yet another in the "How to Rock Climb" series, this one addresses the specific aspects of how to climb rock faces in more detail, focusing on the actual act and techniques of the climbing, rather than the subsidiary bits like protection, belaying, etc. Some definite useful pointers in it. I expect I'll be re-reading this in a year or so, and maybe again after that, too.

Book 28: The Omega Point Trilogy by George Zebrowski. Hard SF to Space Opera in the classic mode. Characters tending to thin, but still some gosh-wow.

Book 29: Driftglass by Samuel R. Delany. A collection of short works by Delany, one or two I'd read before. Mostly pretty good, though in one story I found it got just too impenetrable for me. Holograms were, pretty clearly, a neat new idea when a couple of these stories were written.

Book 30: Werenight by Harry Turtledove. Fun but completely forgettable fantasy. Honest, loyal, bright, brave Baron on edge of empire, ignored by empire; wizard raising barbarian army, and Baron must stop him. Quest, quest, quest... pretty maid... wander, wander, wander... battle... pluckiness... last minute betrayal, but overcome... for teh win!
