Off to Erie, PA

dagibbsAnd today I'm off to Erie Pennsylvania. I'm flying out around noon, and returning Friday evening, so a fairly short trip. I couldn't find any climbing around Erie -- it seems too small to have a gym, and too flat to have "real" climbing, at least anything that I could google for. So, I'm going to take this week as a holiday from climbing, give my body a chance to heal/recover from all the various micro-injuries that accumulate.
My sister and husband (and my niece) should be in town when I get back. Hopefully we'll get out climbing a couple times while they're here. I hope to learn a lot from Randy -- he is, or has been, a serious climber including ice climbing and mountaineering, not just rock climbing.
