plague progress

Yesterday, I felt better so went in to work.

Today, I didn't, because I was feeling worse again.

Last night, I couldn't get to sleep. This is one of my common problems later in an illness, where I'm trying to come out of it, and get back to life. My sleep cycle rotates later and later, as I sleep in, and nap, cause I'm tired, then get to bed later cause I got up later, etc. Then, when I have to go back to getting up at 9am for work, I'm at a point where I can't get to sleep until 5am. So, I do it, but the lack of sleep throws me back in my recovery. Sometimes being a night-owl is a real pain.

Hope you feel better soon!

For the sleep problems, may I suggest melatonin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melatonin)? It's available in the supplements/vitamins section of many drug stores, and helps you get to sleep/stay asleep. I've not tried it myself, granted, but I've heard so many good reports from friends that I picked some up today. It may help you reset to a normal schedule -- I know that's what I'm going for. :)

It is an interesting thought. Though, the article seems to be unclear as to whether it would work or not. Might still be worth a try.
