Shoe shopping dangers

I went shoe shopping on the way home from work today, because I really needed new running shoes. (Well, duct tape might have rescued them, but it would have required heavy duct-taping.) I ended up buying two pairs of shoes -- one pair of runners, and a pair of brown dress/work type shoes. (I've been meaning/thinking of getting a brown pair to supplement my black for a while now.)

But that's not the danger. The danger was that the shoe store was right beside a Chapters. I now have 6 more books. Oops.

I know what you mean. 6 books from one store and 4 from another, in the past couple weeks. It's not like I have time to read them.

Me neither. I've got 3 issues of The Economist unread, and 5 books on climbing from my sister and brother-in-law. When am I going to read new books?

(Of course, I could be reading books, now, rather than LJing... but that would mean less LJ.)
