So, this coming weekend will be my first weekend home after two weeks away. What to do? Friday night is dinner with gabriel_le, then ragnhildr's house warming. But gabriel_le is off to her other household for Saturday and Sunday.

I need to: do laundry, start clearing out my garage to find the tiles for my vestibule.

But, I will have neither gamed, nor climbed in two weeks. So, both are high on the list of "want-to-dos". Climbing shouldn't be too hard -- just need to find someone who wants to climb, maybe on Sunday. Gaming is tougher. With the renovations going on at my place, the house is a horrible dusty mess, so I don't want to invite people over -- I don't feel comfortable inviting people into such a mess. This makes gaming harder to achieve. What I really need is someone else to throw a gaming get-together at their place this weekend.

Saturday we are sugaring off with Pope. Do you want to come?

Gaming, maybe Sunday?

I haven't been to a sugaring-off in years. It might be interesting -- do you have more details? When, where, how much, what is involved, etc?

Gaming Sunday would be awesome, whether or not I go to the sugaring-off.

I think the plan is to be there for 11. They are a little pricey but very very good. I'd have to let pope know soon for the reservations.

I don't think I'll eat enough to be worth the price & time -- though it does sound like some good old traditional cooking. It also sounds like I wouldn't be able to move for hours after I was done. So, I think I'll pass on the sugaring-off.

It's not just the food mind, they have a live musician which is very entertaining, sleigh rides, you can tour the production facilities and bread baking house....not something I would do often, but I find it's a great once a year thing.
