I must not re-addict myself to caffeine in dealing with the time change to Germany. Oh, but the mornings are rough, though. I'm getting up at 7:30am -- that would be 2:30am, about when I'd be getting solidly asleep. And the whole morning is spent during my normal solidly asleep time. Yuck. 2 Coffees yesterday. One today. Hopefully by tomorrow I will be better. We'll see. And, hopefully, that's not enough caffeine to re-hook me. I don't want this monkey back.

I ran out of Diet Cokes yesterday. I have about 5 energy drinks, and then, that's all.

So, if you get hooked, I can commiserate with you.

Thank you. I truly hope you don't need to, though.

And, I have dealt with caffeine withdrawal in the past. I hope yours goes well.

I get nasty headaches.

It's perfectly timed to coincide with our weekend in the woods. At first, I thought this was a poor idea and was tempted to run out to the nearest grocery store and secure more drugs. But, then, I thought, it might actually be perfect. I'll spend a lot of time outdoors drinking entirely too much water. That'll probably help, though Jim should be fully prepared to be snarled at.

Lots of water should help. The headaches aren't surprising. If you take any headache medecine with you, check the ingredients carefully to make sure they don't include caffeine -- I've seen some that do.

but, but, ... caffeine *GOOD*

FWIW, the caffeine in the mystic Excedrin Migraine is one of the key things that helps my migraines go away.

I do get classic migraines, and a hit of caffeine is a big help in mitigating the problems. I've not gone looking for straight caffeine tablets, though perhaps I should. And yes, I do get caffeine withdrawal headaches too. Not even close.

Caffeine can definitely help make headaches go away. But, since she was talking about going off caffeine -- headache pills with caffeine would, definitely remove the withdrawal headache, but would also stop the withdrawal and leave her hooked.

And, I don't get (nor do I think she gets) migraines.

So, yes, caffeine is also good -- in the right place. :)
