Off to Germany
Mar. 18th, 2007 02:47 pmI'll be out of here in about an hour -- my flight leaves at 1800 -- for two weeks business trip to Germany. Yeeha. I'm not bringing my climbing gear -- I don't want to try to find a climbing gym in German, and I think the two weeks off will actually be a good thing. There are a few places I've stressed my body with all the climbing (and falling) and I think a period of recovery will be good. Of course, on the flip side is getting rusty... hope I don't get TOO rusty.
And, I'll miss my sweetie.

Date: 2007-03-19 10:10 am (UTC)this message didn't come to my inbox!
that's a few times now it's happened when you went away.
Call the house when you're off work and we'll see if I'm still awake. The Munchkin didn't give us a good night tonight - but we started a program to try to improve her sleep just a little bit more.

Date: 2007-03-19 12:28 pm (UTC)As to calling when I'm done work -- it isn't so much a question of if you're awake, but if I'm awake. I'm +5 hours to you, now, which means if you're done and home by 5pm, that will be 10pm here, and I'll likely have long crashed by then since I'm so tired. Though, if I take an afternoon nap, it might work out ok. We'll have to see.
Love you.

I'll try calling during work just for a quick hello, or we could just continue gabbing here.

Date: 2007-03-19 01:43 pm (UTC)Calling me won't work, since my cell phone doesn't work in Europe.
Maybe I'll try calling you at Marlene's.
