Gaming Saturday

Board games at my place, this Saturday (February 3rd) from noon to five (12h00-17h00). High on my list of want-to-play are Power Grid, Caylus, Amun Re, and Santiago.

RSVPs appreciated, so I know whether I'll actually have anyone to game with or not.

My place is, also, pretty easy to reach by bus. The 2 and the 85 run within about one block, and the transitway accross downtown is about 4 blocks away.

Also, I don't recognise you from your LJ name, have we met, perhaps at one of ansfrid and buttongirl's parties?

I'm pretty sure it was at buttongirl's parents cottage, I'm tiny compared to everyone else who was there except for cortejo. I shared a room with cortejo and ilanikhan, it was the weekend of the Pikeman's Pleasure SCA event.

I've never been to one of buttongirl's parents' cottage parties. (I do know cortejo, and green_ogre brought ilanikhan out for one of our hiking expeditions, so I've met her, too.)

I was thinking more likely one of their in-town parties.

But, whether we've met or not, you are quite welcome to come and game, either alone, or by ansfridmobile.

Saturday at noon is my hair appt. with Amy - which may take a couple of hours.

*If* my mother-in-law is not in town visiting us, and *if* my appt. ends early enough, and *if* Moria has no objection, and *if* i don't have a date, and *if* i wouldn't be disrupting by coming mid-way through the afternoon (avec new hair) then i would love to drop in and join the next game...

So, last time when I suggested Sunday, you said Saturday was better. This time I suggest Saturday... and you're busy. What's a boy to do in order to get you into his house for a little fun and games?

If I get a confirmed 3 people, I'll call it a go. I'll probably post Friday night or Saturday morning confirming that. And, even if you drop by just to say hello, and to show off the new hair cut, whether or not you play, you would be very welcome. And if you drop by and play, that would be even greater.

Unfortunately, I need to say probably no.

Before it was a little effy, because of family things that evening starting early.

But now, we have had a major catastrophe at work and I am stuck here fixing it, instead of fixing my mother's computer. Which will now be most likely on Saturday.

Next weekend should be ok. I've got a party Saturday night (ansfrid & buttongirl's), and would like to have a gaming get-together one of the days, but haven't comitted to which, yet. But, Sunday dinner should definitely be possible.
