A great weekend

I had a great weekend!

I went out dancing Friday evening with Ellie. This is our second Friday out to Dancetown.ca, and we've enjoyed both evenings a lot and hope to do more of them.

Saturday, foms, beable, and ironphoenix came over for board-games in the afternoon. We played a great game of Brass, where unlike many times I had no idea going into the final scoring who was actually winning (often I know that I am), and it did come out to a close finish (I won). Make wandered off, then we played a few quick games of Oraklos (two to beable, one to foms) until Hélène joined us for dinner.

After dinner, we decided on socialization and drinks in front of a fire rather than more games, which was really nice.

Sunday afternoon I made it out to the climbing gym with Simon and his (elder) son, later to be joined by Kate, Phil, and Rachel.

After climbing, I had a wonderful dinner with Cara, then another evening in front of a fire with good conversation and company.

Also, along the way, I booked a 4-day climbing trip to Las Vegas/Red Rocks.

By in my neighbourhood, these are basically along about a 8-block stretch of Somerset -- though a couple are within a block off Somerset on cross streets.

Let's meet for Pho at your local Pho restaurant is less than completely useful as plans. :)
