A day in Haifa
Sep. 3rd, 2016 07:45 pmI took a walk today, around noon, which may not have been the best time. But, I was looking to get full sun for a while, to try and reset my internal clock a bit. I don't think it worked.
And boy was it hot. Or, maybe, it was just quite warm, but I decided to walk up hill a lot - Haifa is not a flat town. But I was quite covered in sweat within about 1/2 an hour.
The not flat, and the Bahai temple in its gardens were such solid land marks that, at least I didn't worry about getting lost in the twisty-windy little streets and stairs.
Also, actually watched Captain America: Civil War on the flight over. How I keep up with the occasional movie -- long flights.
