Off to L.A.

Well, the hotel is in Irvine, and the customer is in Tustin -- but that's all L.A. area.

And, once again I'm posting from YOW. Sadly, this flight didn't book very well -- I have to spend 4 hours waiting in O'Hare. Joy. Looks like the flights should, hopefully, go ok, though. At least so far. :) All the Newark and Philadelphia flights out of here are (not surprisingly) cancelled -- but mine still shows on time. And the next leg is central to west, and should be fine.

But, 4 hours in Chicago O'Hare. Ick. And, it means I get in for 8pm, rather than 5:30 or so. Ah well. Such is my life.

But, I've got climbing plans for the next couple weekends -- and that is good. :)

And, sometimes a long stop-over isn't so bad...

They just announced a one hour delay on the Ottawa-Chicago flight due to mechanical issues. With the stop-over I have in Chicago, I don't have to even start worrying about missing my connection.

In fact, this delay is fine with me, cause it means an extra hour in Ottawa with the free wi-fi, rather than in Chicago where I'd have to pay to connect. (And, probably wouldn't bother.)
