(patent pending)

Sunday night, get to bed between 2 and 3am. Have the snow-removal people working on your street, with a truck backing up every minute or so, with the beep-beep-beep of the backing alarm. An alarm that sounds remarkably like an alarm clock alarm.

Get up at about 5:20am, with the beeping still happening. Get stuff together, coffee, and pick up a friend from 5 blocks away at 6am.

Drive to Mont Tremblant. Ski for the day, with no lift lines so you are never wasting any time standing around waiting.

Drive to your hotel, wander out for dinner, back to the hotel. Have a small glass of Sortilege.

Turn off computer to go to sleep around 7:30pm. Be asleep within minutes.

I had a really good pair of days of skiing up at Tremblant -- conditions and weather were good to very good both days, lift lines were short to non-existent, and I got a lot of skiing in. Martin counted runs today -- 18 runs, most of them full mountain.

I am a bit tired, stiff, and achey now -- but not nearly as much as I had expected or feared. Of course, we'll see what tomorrow brings. ;)

Monday, it was snowing all day, with low-clouds, so the top had very low-vis, as did much of the south-side, but on the north-side once you got 25m or so off the peak, things opened out enough that you could see quite well enough to ski. And it meant that conditions were nice all day.

Tuesday was colder and clear -- but with the fresh snow the day before conditions were quite good everywhere.
