weather...

7 people (of about 20) made it in to the hotel. They say it was very slippery out there. We're webexing and audio-conferencing for everyone else. Yeeha.

Hotel staff is also a bit sparse... with some people covering for other people. :)

Well... more webex...

More than half my students didn't make it in -- so we teleconferenced and webexed everyone. One person came in over lunch, though. He did mention that things were a lot easier to follow in person, than over the teleconference & webex -- which makes sense to me. It's why people do actually have me travel places rather than doing it all online.

And, it looks like things aren't going to be melted tomorrow, either. No to almost no salt trucks, so they just wait for the weather to warm up (which is usually pretty quick) but looks to be longer than normal this time.

I may even just eat at the hotel, rather than going out and fighting the ice.
