That was new...

I saw a small grass/brush fire beside the Queensway (417 highway) while riding home from work today. I first noticed the plume of smoke, and thought maybe a car... but as I approached, it became clear the side of the road was, itself, burning with no sign of a wrecked/burning car anywhere near. (And, the smoke didn't smell like car, either.) I'm guessing somebody probably tossed a cigarette out there window, and that things are so dry right now (heatwave, anyone?) that it just caught.
