Had what will probably be my last physiotherapy appointment for my ankle this morning. We both agreed that, unless I run into problems, I'm done with Physio. Yay!

And, actually, the ankle is doing quite well. I'm walking on it normally, and actually climbing on it normally as well -- I don't notice that I'm particularly favouring it while climbing, except that if I jump off a boulder route, I will try to land with my right foot first. Oh, and it does get tired more quickly -- after about 1.5 hours of climbing, or so, it will be starting to feel more fatigued than my right ankle.

I do, still, find that my left foot is quite stiff in the morning -- but after I've taken 15 steps or so, it is fine. Also, there is a lot more clicking/popping in my left ankle. I'm told that both of these are pretty normal, and as long as there isn't pain associated with the clicking/popping, I shouldn't worry about it. It probably won't completely go away, but will reduce over time.

Life, sometimes, is just kind of strange. Or, maybe, surreal is a better word.

I just went back to a dance lesson for the first time since I broke my ankle. I did mostly Swing and some Cha-cha. Swing is, and was, one of my favourites. Of course, of the dances I've been doing, they are probably the ones that are roughest on the ankle -- but it held up fine. Yay.

I'm glad to get back to it, too.
