outward bound... on my way to Reno

I'm in Chicago, on my way to Reno. Because I have to take three flights to Reno (connections not as good) as compared to 2 flights to San Jose, it is actually going to take me longer to get to Reno than San Jose, despite Reno being closer. *sigh*

Now in Denver

A short stop-over here, about 1 hour, rather than the 3 hour lay-over in Chicago. I continue to wish that United had better lounges, but even so they're still better than the main terminal.

Arrived in Reno

And I've successfully arrived in Reno! Yay!

I could tell it was Nevada -- as soon as I walked off the plane, there were rows of slot machines in sight.

Convenient!

My commute to work this week will be just under 1 mile. That's really convenient. :)

Sadly, the climbing gym is about 10 miles away -- that's the other side of town here in Reno. (Well, I'm just north of center, and it's south end.)
