I'm caught up on LJ. (You guys aren't posting enough.)
I've read all my webcomics. (Maybe I don't have enough on my reading list? 119 on my regularly read list? Nah.)
I've check my work email.
I've caught up on my personal email.
I'm on the outskirts of Dublin, far away from anywhere, and it is raining.
I've gone through too much of my reading material already, due to my travel disaster, and I've still got 16 hours of travel on Saturday to get through.
I'm so bored, I'm posting on LJ about how bored I am.

Reply to this post and I will (eventually) respond with something for you to post your top five or ten of.

[livejournal.com profile] curgoth asked me for my top 5 favourite cities to be sent to for work.

Of the cities I have been sent to for work, these are the top:

1. Detroit, Michigan. Good friends that I don't see often enough, a couple of good rock climbing gyms, and friends who like to climb with me.
2. Toronto, Ontario. Good friends that I don't see often enough, and a couple of decent climbing gyms.
3. Boston, MA. Because I haven't [livejournal.com profile] ladysprite in far too long.
4. Austin, Texas. Because I've got friends there, and while the climbing gym is just ok, there is good real rock climbing within the city, and the local climbers are really friendly -- happy to let you get on their rope, put up a route for you, belay you, or whatever. Also, if a longer trip, I have friends in Houston to visit. (Which would have put Houston around #6.)
5. Silicon Valley, California. Lots of good food available, a couple of top-notch climbing gyms and I've built up a few climbing contacts to go out climbing with. Also, the weather is generally quite good, too. And, there's outdoor climbing around, and next time down I've got an offer to take me outdoor climbing.

Hm... what makes me like a city for travel... climbing and friends. Is anyone surprised?
