I know she loves me. I came home to a little present on the table -- 3 boxes of Vinta and a jar of Chocolate-Hazelnut spread, and not Nutella, cause Nutella uses peanut oil, but an "off-brand" that doesn't use peanut oil. Yummy.
But, it is sitting about where I remember leaving my notes about what was played (and who won) at Monday's gaming. So, while looking around for the missing notes, I manage to knock my glass of (left-over) Mountain Dew into the just re-heated plate of (left-over) Chinese food. No, curry is NOT enhanced by turning it into a Mountain Dew float.
So... apologies for any inaccuracies or ommissions in my post-gaming post.

Monday's gaming
Sep. 4th, 2007 06:34 pmHad a good crowd for gaming, including me, gabriel_le, ironphoenix, zenten and waterspyder, donnav, ragnhildr, arndis, tchang, ilanikhan, iclysdale, and shyska. raynedaze also appeared to socialize and do some art.
We started with a game or two of Fluxx, while people accumulated.
Then, in parallel was Caylus (3-player) and Antike (6-player), with ironphoenix winning Caylus (though it was a close game) and ilanikhan winning Antike.
Next, was Torres (3-player) and El Grande (4-player). And, in the other room, some social time was spent. I think tchang won Torres, and ironphoenix and I tied for first in El Grande.
At this point we broke for dinner, a game of Fluxx then Set were played while waiting for chinese takeout and some Zendo was played over dinner.
After dinner, Samurai was pulled out (4-player), won by tchang. In the other room, I think two games of Tsuro were played. One was a draw, and donnav won the other.
Some people wandered off at this point, and the final game of the evening was Santiago (4-player) won by me, with arndis a close second.
It was a good day of gaming, thank you everyone for coming. And, I was quite surprised by just how many people did show up. Pleased and surprised.
