I'm feeling the post-climbing tiredness today more than I'm used to. I didn't think I climbed much harder last night than normal -- but looking back, I realize I did 4 overhang routes, which is a fair number. And, I think one of the route setters at Coyote is actively under-rating routes, since the 5.9s seem to be getting tougher, and I saw a 5.10d repeatedly spitting off a guy who I think usually climbs tougher routes than that.

Back to the walls tonight, then a week off while I'm in Germany.

Well, I just might have found me a climbing gym in Stuttgart, actually it looks to be in southern Stuttgart, and Filderstadt (where I'm going) is a town (almost suburb, but has its own centre, rather than being a real satelite like North American suburbs) a little bit farther south of Stuttgart. (I fly in to Stuttgart airport.)

Of course, the web site is all in German. I was hoping for an "English" side to the site, but doesn't look that way. They probably don't intend to cater to international audiences, not unexpectedly. From cognates, though, it looks like they have bouldering areas, in case I don't have a belay partner. And, maybe something more -- this FAQ question: "Muss man zum Klettern immer mit Partner kommen? " seems to be "do I need to come with a climbing partner?" or something close to that.

Now, to see if I can find hours and rates on the site anywhere...
