good food...
Mar. 23rd, 2007 08:39 pmAsked a QNX employee in Germany, Jeevan, to recommend an Indian restaurant in Hanover. Went there tonight, and I now feel well fed. Dahl soup, beef Madras, rice, and garlic naan -- yummy. And, enough spice in the Madras to make my mouth warm, and my nose run a bit. I also spotted another restaurant close to here labelled as "Asia - Siam", I'm hoping it will have some flavourful food, too. And, might have spotted a Donair place, too -- that should be a good lunch over the weekend.
Amusingly, at dinner last night I had a pot of Jasmine tea (in a Chinese restaurant). The tea cost 3.00 Euro, on the same menu they had Port for a digestif -- 2.50 Euro. In Canada, the tea would probably have been free/included, and the port would have been $5.00-$8.00.
P.S. in-car GPS-based navigation system roxors.
