Last evening I felt something go wrong on my upper-right-back molar. That's tooth that has an inlay on it, and the inlay had previously (a few years ago) fallen out, and been re-glued in. I was eating crackers, and had swallowed -- so didn't find any bits. Oops. Poking around with my tongue, found there was a big hole back there, with jagged edges.

I called the dentist this morning, and got an appointment for 4:45 this afternoon. Luckily it wasn't the inlay gone -- "just" a bit of the tooth that had broken off. So, all it needed was a really big filling.

I went out climbing again this evening, with a friend from work. Climbed with him, pretty solidly, from 7pm to 9pm, then he headed off. I continued to casually boulder until 10:30 in the evening, when I headed home.

I'm finding that I'm getting to points on a couple 5.9 level routes where I just need more arm strength -- I need to be able to do far more of a straight pull-up than I am able to do. Now, I want to install some sort of a chin-up bar somewhere in my home, so I can start exercising (at least for the bits I need for climbing) more regularly, even when I don't get out climbing. Gad.
