A nice Sunday
Jan. 7th, 2007 10:56 pmThe morning started with nice cuddles with the very wonderful gabriel_le.
Then, she wandered off to pezchica's for the rest of the day, and I wandered off to Tasha & Alan's going away party at the Royal Oak near Pretoria bridge. Was good to see them again, and wish them luck on their trip to Grenoble, France. Was also good to see a few other people I haven't seen in a while, though they definitely read my LJ as several made quite clear. :) One of them even suggested she'd come over to the potluck this evening, but unfortunately even the bribe of a chocolate-raspberry martini wasn't enough to overcome the inertia of going home to Orleans, first.
Had a smallish gaterhing for the potluck -- I think we had 9 people. But, it was a nice friendly gathering, and the food was good. I made the lentil-barley stew that I like, and like to make since it is relatively easy, and quite yummy -- it all got devoured, and several people made "yum" comments about it.
