Did you know there was a place you could play daily Quiddler puzzles? Yup, at http://www.setgame.com/quiddler/puzzle_frame.htm .

So, my car just went off warranty... meaning it was time for a couple things to break. And, to sweeten the pot, time to do the brakes as well. *sigh*.

For several years, I've been jokingly referring to Quebec as "the other country", and now it is, apparently, a nation within Canada -- so my joke has, sadly, come true.

Joined con_girl and friends at New Age Sushi for some great company, acceptable food, and yummy deep-fried ice cream for dessert. Then, brought 5 of them back to my place for some gaming! Yay!

Two games of Tsuro were played, the first a tied shared death by ansfrid and foms. The 2nd a win for con_girl. During the 2nd game, ansfrid kindly created a new deck of destination cards for Trans Europa, which we preceded to play. I won that narrowly, a point ahead of buttongirl, and the rest of the field mostly way off the track. (Scores of 9, 9, and 7 in the final round tend to do that.)

I don't have that many games for 6 players. I have several in the light end of things (e.g. Tsuro, Trans Europa), and several at the heavy/long end of the spectrum (e.g. India Rails, Iron Dragon, Diplomacy), but not much in the middle. This is not quite as important as good 5 player games, as 6 can split into 2 sets of 3, and I've got lots of games for 2-4 or 3-5 or so players. Still, would be nice to have a couple solid mid-range 6 player games. Medici might fit the bill, but I'm not sure what other choices there might be.
