Damn car warranties ending

So, my car just went off warranty... meaning it was time for a couple things to break. And, to sweeten the pot, time to do the brakes as well. *sigh*.

Ooh, thanks for the reminder! My car is going to drop out of warranty sometimg in the next couple months, and I want to get it into the shop and have them give it a good look-over in an effort to avoid exactly that fate. (Yes, I know, it's futile, but it's an emotionally-significant ritual for me anyway!)
