Small town chinese buffet
Mar. 8th, 2005 06:29 pmThere's not a lot of choice on where to eat here. Just not that many restaurants, in fact I'd say Pizza Hut is mid-way up the local food chain, maybe a bit higher.
So there was a chinese restaurant/buffet next door, walking distance away, so I decided, why not. I didn't have high expectations. The first thing that surprised me was that all the wait staff was white. Yup, I'm really not used to being in a chinese restaurant and not having chinese (or at least oriental) service staff. And, while the food wasn't particularly authentic, it was actually pretty good. Well, I did avoid some of the more... iffy... dishes.
