Bouldering in Ann Arbor
Jan. 23rd, 2007 12:30 pmI took Bella out bouldering at Planet Rock in Ann Arbor last evening. They have a nice gym setup, very interesting in that the floor is setup on multiple levels, with, among other things, a swinging bridge and a tunnel between levels. It made for a very different looking environment.
We had intended to climb, but got there too close to closing time (2 hours before), so they said they couldn't do the belay instruction, so we bouldered instead. They had a number of interesting routes, and we had a good time with the bouldering. But, I still missed doing routes, that is, actually going up some amount.
Was a good evening, and I enjoyed the climbing, and the time with Bella. Too bad she lives so far away.
