Vancouver! Sep 25-29

Work is sending me off to the wonderful city of Vancouver, for the week of Sept 25-29. I'm not sure where in the city I'll be, yet, but most likely I'll be travelling Sunday before, and coming home on either Friday or Saturday after. Hopefully, I'll be able to get direct flights and everything, would be cool if I could.

And, I'll get to see succulentpoet again! Yay!

Apparently I'm fairly central -- the company is at 134 Abbott St, Vancouver. I should be in a hotel fairly nearby.

That's in Gastown, which is fairly central, yes. It's not a great area, though... just make sure that they don't put you in a hotel on the Downtown Eastside.

I'm being put in a Holiday Inn at 1110 Howe Street. Is that Downtown Eastside?

Nope, definitely not. That's a nice area of town, actually. What's interesting about Vancouver is that you have really nice neighborhoods squished up against really bad neighborhoods. There's very little buffer zone. That hotel is not too far from me!

So, I'm arriving Sunday, around 4pm (plus airport delays, and getting in to town delays, etc), and I'm leaving Friday afternoon. That gives Sunday-Thursday evenings that I'm in town.

What do you wanna do with me, and when?
