Climbing at Coyote

I got out to Coyote with gabriel_le yesterday. I climbed a few 5.8s, with not too much problem, but had little luck with a 5.9 route I attempted. I still need to work on my hand-grip and arm strength for anything in the more-than-vertical or overhang type setup. I did find that the routes were short -- Coyote doesn't have anywhere near the vertical that Planet Rock in Pontiac did, nor the interesting variety of terrain. And, Vertical Reality has more vertical than Coyote, but fewer top-rope routes, and the routes aren't labelled as to difficulty at all. (Or, at least, not in anyway I could find.) Now, I'm wishing that we had a better rock gym here in Ottawa. Doh.
