More travel -- Michigan confirmed

I just checked my work email -- my trip to Michigan for the week of August 14-18th has just been confirmed by a P.O. from the customer. I think I'm going to be lazy this time, and just fly, rather than drive. So, I'll be coming in Sunday evening sometime, and flying home on Friday the 18th. Tuesday I'll be at Tio's; Wednesday I'll be climbing with renniekins. Now, I just need to book up the rest of the week. ;)

(Why fly rather than ride/drive? Well, I'm tired now. And, the Tuesday after I get back I fly to L.A. for Worldcon, I want to spend less time on travel right now.)

In other news, the possible Australia trip is postponed and/or cancelled. It won't happen this year, it might (or might not) happen next year. I guess I'll just wait and see.

What city will you be staying in this time?

I have Thursday off that week and could come down for Thai food.

Thursday is Luna night in Royal Oak, some of Rennie's friends go and sometimes even her.

Luna is a Dance club in Royal Oak, which is a bit far from where you will be.

Warren was for GM -- this time it is Visteon, who apparently are located somewhere else. Isn't Ford more clustered down where I'm going to be, rather than up Warren way? (And Visteon is a Ford off-shoot.)

I think I'm south and west of Chuck's place, but not too far, no.

Ford is more or less centred on Dearborn, I believe.

Karen Noteboom lives just up in Dearborn Heights these days.

I haven't seen, or heard from, Karen in ages. I should try and track her down, in case she's in town that week. Do you have current contact information for her?
