I'm home, my luggage isn't

dagibbsI am not home, but am back in North America -- once again at elizilla's place, borrowing her internet connection. Unfortunately, my luggage is still in London, or more accurately, my contents of luggage in elizilla's suitcase is back in London. I'm hoping it will, actually, make it to Ottawa some time in the next couple days as they promised me it would.
And, I'm not best pleased with British Airways. Again. I got to Heathrow in lots of time, waited through a long line, and still arrived to check-in in fine time, and got told the flight was overbooked, so I'd have to come back at 40 minutes before flight time (the end of check-in time), and that I'd have to hold on to my luggage. So, I get back to check-in, yes I can make my flight, and they take my luggage -- and there were several other people forced to do a delayed check-in, just like me, and I saw all of them at the lost-luggage claim here in Detroit. And, the person at the lost-luggage counter even managed to say, "I don't know why your luggage didn't make the flight." Hell, I know why -- because they wouldn't let me check it in time for my luggage to make the flight.
And, I finally saw Pirates of the Caribean on in-flight entertainment. Yes, I'm that far behind in my movie viewing. I'd have to say, the only reason that movie made much splash is Johny Depp's portrayal of Jack Sparrow. (Then again, I'm sure that isn't news to anybody.)
