My livejournal "friends" page has been far quieter than normal this weekend. Strange that.

But, it is, also a strange experience, at least for me. Used to be, I'd bump in to someone I hadn't seen since the last convention, and we'd spend the 10 minutes (or so) catching up on each other's life. But, with people I keep in contact with through LJ, that just doesn't happen the same way. Odd.

That's my usual complaint to Tammy, "we don't need to talk, I've already read your LJ." It was even worse when erikted was living here, we joked a few times that we should IM each other while we were all on our respective laptops sitting in the living room.

In some ways I kind of find it annoying, because it leaves you with less stuff to talk about FTF. But OTOH it's a nice way to keep up with people that you don't get to see often. So as far as I'm concerned, the jury is still out.
