My livejournal "friends" page has been far quieter than normal this weekend. Strange that.

But, it is, also a strange experience, at least for me. Used to be, I'd bump in to someone I hadn't seen since the last convention, and we'd spend the 10 minutes (or so) catching up on each other's life. But, with people I keep in contact with through LJ, that just doesn't happen the same way. Odd.

Yeah, LJ definitely changes the dynamic of in-person meetings - I've noticed that too.

Yes, having fun. Just gotten dressed up for the evening, and about to head out to the dance. :)

eh - I find that LJ lets you stay on the same page - so you don't waste time telling the same old stories and can go into details/depth right away with real-life friends who also happen to be LJ friends. Moreover, instead of rehashing old memories, the two of you can just plunge in and make new memories together. :)
