I've now made it successfully to Michigan. The weather looked pleasant, if a bit warm, but unfortunately there was quite a headwind, making the ride a lot more tiring than I expected.

I got here just in time to find that elizilla was on her way off to a BBQ that thatguychuck had invited "bikers" to, and she invited me along. It was quite pleasant, and a good way to get fed after an afternoon on the road.

Tomorrow: Holland, Michigan.

This has, definitely, been a relaxed trip, covering this distance in three days just isn't a stress.

Hm... I think tomorrow gabriel_le actually hits the trail. (Though, I might be confused -- it might not be until Tuesday.)

She and Ali were spending the evening, until 2 a.m., at Ali's parents house and then driving to the southern point of the hundred miles to catch a shuttle to the top of the trail so that Ali's car will be waiting for her. I'm not sure how far of a drive it is from Ali's to the southern part of the trail, but I'm sure they'll be on that trail by noon or so.

Oh, that's the Great Oak game night on Friday and eviljohn and tammylc host. I think they mentioned it in the thread when you announced you were coming here. :)

I wasn't at Tios' this week, I will be next week. You haven't missed me, yet.

Now, all I have to do is figure out how to get to Great Oak, and how to find their place once I do get there.
