A good weekend

So, I hadn't really been planning to do it, but Saturday was just so nice I had to get the bike out. And, it really needed its spring tune-up, so it was get it out (past the ice still on the driveway) and then ride it to the shop for spring tuneup. Should be back in a few days, and riding season will have finally, really, started.

Hosted a game of Iron Dragon on Sunday, foms and ragnhildr were "only" 1/2 an hour late. foms blamed ragnhildr for this, but both D & I clearly took this to mean that if it weren't for her, he'd have been more like an hour late. This amused ragnhildr, D & me -- but chagrined foms. Still, foms went on to win the game by a solid margin, so all was not bad for him. And, I think, a good time was had by all. (And much guacamole was consumed, along with a modicum of other comestibles.)

Following the game, we all wandered off to the poly potluck, which was also a good time, with much pleasant socialising.

Also, looking forward to Ad Astra. D & I are going down a day early, to catch an Egypt exhibit at the ROM. Both should be fun.

I just want to game next time I'm in Ottawa (dunno when that will be though) - heck I won't mind (much) if I lose to you or foms - this would be par for the course, of course ;)

Well, we did get in one, quick, game of Bohnanza while you were here last time. Not a LOT of gaming... but it was a little bit.
