Desperately doing laundry!

Can I get laundry done before I have to leave? How much of what is in the wash do I really need this week? Can I squeak by without it, since I'm only teaching 2.5 days this time? And, who books my life this full?

There are lots of cities where laundromats are run by little ladies of foreign origin who will do loads of laundry for a fixed fee, such as $5 or $10. Back when I had more money than time, this bailed me out more than once, as I could drop the laundry off on the way to work, and pick it up ready to pack on the way home. Ottawa *must* have some of them around.

I looked for on of these when I was in Palo Alto, a couple weeks ago, after the week in Germany. I couldn't find one there. I would guess that Ottawa probably has some, somewhere, but I don't know where to find one. Maybe I should look, just in case.
