Wow, it still works

I just (accidentally) put my USB memory stick (a Kingston DataTraveller II Plus) through the wash, and it still works. Wow. (Wow, that was dumb, and wow it didn't break it.)

Yeah, some decade I'm going to learn to check my pockets before I do laundry. Really, I've been doing laundry for almost 3 decades now, you'd think I'd have learnt. But, no. I hand my passport to border guards, they look at it, snicker, and say "put it through the wash?".
