*sigh*

Sometimes travel is sucky. Apparently Newark was having sucky weather, and Ottawa was low enough on the totem pole that we got held off getting in to Newark, but my Texas flight was important enough to get away on time, so after an hour and a half wait to get rebooked by customer "service", I'm now at a hotel in Newark, and not looking forward to my 5:40 am flight out of here.

Well, I've emailed the customer to warn them I'll be late & phoned (though only left a message) one of the contact people.

Yuck.

Oh, no! Did they put you in the Hilton... the worst Hilton in the Northeast? We ended up there coming home from Christmas 2004. Ick.

Monday dinner is still possible with us, though weird. If you get a chance to call me during the day, do so and I will give you details.

They tried to put me up in a Holiday Inn 30 minutes (or so) from the airport. I'll bet it was the worst Holiday Inn in the Northeast, too. I put myself up in a Marriot, on the airport. Well, one of TI, QNX, or Amex put me up in the Marriot, actually. Dunno which, yet.

Talked to you on the phone, already, about dinner.

Ottawa was closed last night for pea-soup fog (couldnt see across my street, or the river) and nothing got into town. Now most morning flights out are cancelled simply because the planes they were supposed to use never got "in".

Yeah, that can happen, too.
