On my way home...

Sitting in San Jose airport. I hadn't had a chance to check email today, so I paid for wireless access here. I figured I could justify it from a work side -- I think every day this week has resulted in email that has changed what my next two months will/may look like. For instance, through checking today I saw the confirmation that the speculative call I got Tuesday morning about my travel next week being postponed had, actually, been confirmed. So, I'm in Ottawa next week. Also, about 5 other important/timely work queries that it is really good I got too today, rather than Monday. Wowsers, but things are crazy right now. Who knows what tomorrow's email will bring? I do think I'll be brining this laptop with me to KW, and hoping that horsetraveller has high-speed access I can borrow to check my email once leolac and I get there.

Hm... weather report looks like light snow through Friday and Saturday. If it stays light, the driving should be ok. Let's hope it doesn't turn heavy.

I wonder how much caffeine I'm gonna need to stay awake for the drive tommorrow? Didn't sleep well last night, and I'm doing a red-eye flight tonight, so I don't expect to get good sleep tonight either. Well, leolac should be able to spell me for the highway driving, at least. I am looking forward to seeing horsetraveller's new house, though. (And, horsetraveller, too.)

Among the bits of travel news are the likelihood of UK the week after Germany. Michigan in one of the two weeks following that. Next weeks Erie PA trip moved to late March. Houston trip in March sometime, too. I don't have my calendar but I think, in order by weeks: home, Redding PA, Houston TX, Warren MI, Erie PA, Stuttgart Germany, Leicestershire UK, Warren Michigan. Unless it changes. :)

Just talked to the current possessor -- she says it should be dropped by here before we leave (around 1pm).

Here in Ottawa, it is still clear.
