Well, I've made it to California -- safely, if not promptly. Flew Continental Ottawa-Newark-San Jose. Not the best of routes, too much lost time, cause the Ottawa-Newark leg really doesn't go the right direction. Oh well.

Yeah, some got dumped on the tops of the local hills, which is rare around here.

ewww, continental!
the last time t and I flew with themn ( the first leg of our trip to austrailia) even "I" had leg room issues (as well as my usual ass room issues), t was horribly squished and I can only imagine how you would be. they were the worst airline that I'd been on in ages re seating.
i'd imagine the going backward thing didn't help

Yup, once I got on the plane I remembered why I'd sworn off Continental/Delta -- tiny rows, crowded seating. I shall endeavour to remember again.
